Self Exclusion at Stake

The self-exclusion feature allows players to voluntarily block access to their account if they feel they are having difficulty controlling their gaming activity. During the self-exclusion period, users on Stake 365 will not be able to log in, place bets, receive bonuses, or participate in promotions.

This tool is designed for players who want to take a serious break from gaming and reduce the risk of further losses. If you’re unable to activate self-exclusion on your own, Stake’s customer support team is ready to assist you via online chat or email.

How Self Exclusion Works

Stake allows players to request self-exclusion directly in the “Stake Smart” section of their account. Once the request is confirmed, the restriction takes effect immediately.

The process includes the following steps:

  1. Go to the “Stake Smart” page.
  2. Submit a self-exclusion request.
  3. Confirm your decision.

Your account will be blocked for the selected period.

If you have trouble accessing your account, contact customer support for assistance.

What Happens During Self Exclusion?

Once self-exclusion is activated, a number of restrictions are automatically applied to your account. Here are the main ones:

  • You cannot log in to your account;
  • Deposits and betting will be blocked;
  • Bonuses, reload offers, and other promotions are unavailable;
  • Bonus funds earned during the self-exclusion period will be forfeited;
  • Opening another account is prohibited.

These restrictions remain in effect until the end of the self-exclusion period.

Account Reactivation

An indefinite self-exclusion is valid for at least six months. Upon expiration of this period, the account is not automatically reinstated.

To regain access, players must submit a written request. Stake reviews each request on a case-by-case basis before deciding whether to reactivate the account.

If the request is approved, access is restored. If concerns regarding responsible gaming remain, the company may keep the account blocked.

Important Self Exclusion Rules

Self-exclusion is a voluntary agreement between the player and Stake. By activating it, players agree to a number of additional terms:

  • Do not attempt to deposit or place bets during the exclusion period;
  • Do not create new Stake accounts while self excluded;
  • Any accounts discovered during the exclusion period may be closed;
  • Bets placed in violation of the self exclusion rules may be cancelled;
  • Winnings, bonuses, and promotional rewards received during the self-exclusion period may be voided;
  • Losses incurred after circumventing a self-exclusion request are not eligible for reimbursement.

Stake also reserves the right to take additional measures if evidence emerges that a player has intentionally attempted to circumvent self-exclusion.

Protecting Minors

Stake accepts only players who are 18 years of age or older. Parents and guardians are encouraged to prevent minors from accessing gambling websites by using parental controls or website blocking software.

Some commonly used tools include:

  • BetBlocker;
  • Net Nanny;
  • Gamban;
  • GamBlock.

These services are provided by independent companies. Stake is not responsible for the operation of third-party software.

Where to Get Help

Self exclusion is only one way to reduce gambling related harm. Players who need additional support can contact independent organizations that specialize in gambling addiction.

Recommended resources include:

  • Gamblers Anonymous;
  • Gambling Therapy;
  • National Council on Problem Gambling;
  • GamTalk.

Seeking help early often makes the recovery process easier and provides access to professional counseling.
